We chat occasionally about life stuff even though AH is not living with me anymore. He stopped by last night and mentioned that he thought it would happen. He just confirmed that it did.

Last night we talked for awhile about his job situation, and while I do see that this was a bad job and a bad fit for him, I also noticed that he accepted little responsibility for his performance in the job. Knowing him and his history, sober or drinking, I knew he wasn't just an innocent guy in a crappy job getting fired unfairly.

Anyway, it was another reminder that the saga goes on with or without me in a front row seat. C'est la vie.

oh my gosh Florence, you mean you didn't immediately call his boss and beg for his job back for him? you didn't race out and get the want ads or hire a resume writer to "help" him get a new job right away? you just LET his stuff be.....his stuff?
