Hey All,

The chat room is new for me, but I need accountability. I am tired of feeling like I need to get high or take prescription meds. I must learn how to live again in my natural state of mind.

Hi Stronger, I relate to being tired or feeling the need to get high all of the time. The only way that I learned that I could live without using is to actually stop using. I got clean with the support of Narcotics Anonymous although I know many people who got clean on thier own. It was really important for me to keep myself busy but at the same time to take care of myself physically by eating well as well as getting plenty of rest (that was hard to do at times). It was also important for me to be easy on myself and to not make really big important decisions I'm glad you are visiting the forum in addiction to the chat room; hope to see more posts from you!
