hi all, I'm nearing 3 weeks sober. I read some posts here about people being itchy in early days of detox. I did not get the itchy skin in first days. But tonight, I'm itching. Is that part of the detox? Can it start 3 weeks later?

My back was extremely itchy at week 3. It lasted about 5-6 days and then disappeared. Hang on!

Oh right. Thanks for that Liz. Thought I was imagining the itching. But I guess not. Cant sleep as I'm itchy all over, head to toes, literally!

I was definitely itchy at first. At the hospital, they gave me some prescription cream or you could try a little Benadryl.
