New to Sober Recovery
I'm not new to AA, but have been a chronic 2-drink relapser...ie, every few months I have a couple drinks for a couple weeks, then stop and continue on sober again. I am also a recovering Love Addict, now in another 12-step group for that. It's my primary addiction, but alcohol and drugs are all part of the package and all get out of control. I joined this site to support my alcohol addiction primarily, because I want to quit my slipping once and for all, and recover.

Welcome, you've found a good spot.
What I do, is think that first drink through to the end and where it'll lead. The guilt and regret.
Just don't take that first drink and you won't have the second.
