Hello, today is my 5th day from opiates. I have not entered a 12 step program yet. I thought I would start here though. Dont really know what to say except I am glad I sought help and for the 1st time in year I finally feel normal again.

Thank you. Today though I am having a bad bad need for Roxy....Yesterday my dealer called and left message that he is "On Deck" again...I was fine last night. I didnt really want/need it but all morning the craving has grown stronger and stronger. Now my body is acting to the craving. Im tight and shaky. My stomach is knoting. I keep telling myself this will pass but OMG will it? I told my husband to block the dealers number and I made him take the CC to work so I couldnt get money but damn damn damn this is awful! Do any of you go to meetings?

It is pretty normal the feelings that you ar having now Startingover. What your body is feeling is the anxiety around not using. When I got clean I went to NA Narcotics Anonymous. It was wonderful to find a group of addicts like myself who could relate to what I was going through. How are you doing now?
