Hey It's Jackpot, 11 days and feeling fine. Had a nice peaceful weekend in Maine. Still alcohol in the house and I just ignored the cabinet. Found an AA meeting and even went to an AA social event that afternoon. It was speaker after speaker talking about sponsors and sponsees. I even got 7 hours of straight through the night sleep. Drove back to Massachusetts in a hellacious snow storm. I don't think the weekend could have gone any better.

I went to a womens meeting this morning and this woman approached me asking if she could be my sponsor. I have never met her before. It was very awkward. She kept saying that she could bring me to "better meetings than this". As we were getting ready to leave she came up to me and repeated 3 times that "I am a very sick person - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Maybe she thought she was looking in the mirror.

I am more confused than ever.
