Made it through a family weekend
Had weekend with inlaws and a bunch of others at a reunion type party in my hometown. It was alcohol free but it got on my nerves because it lasted 6 hours.
When I wanted to drink is when my husband, his Dad and his wife all busted out the booze after everyone left the party. I kept thinking how nice it would be to HAVE ONE. Yeah, right.
So anyway, I said to heck with this, I am going to bed. So I did and it was a good choice for me to make. I just didn't even feel like listening to that dumb voice in my head.

I can imagine, you're having to listen to everyone else all day, deal with family as we all know can be very trying, having to SMILE though it all, and your last statement was icing on the cake... " I just didn't even feel like listening to that dumb voice in my head."
