Today was just your average day. Hanging out a drinking as usual. Have been on a binge for a week straight now. Today, a friend showed up though. He got arrested for possession of some illegal substances. I know it's not my fault, but if I hadn't have wanted to stop from the liquor sit down and drink a tall can, nothing would have happened. I see the trust I used to have for myself lingering on a thread, and I wish I could be a better person. One I can count on. My friend is locked up, he and I made poor decisions. One thing I learned over many years is if you go around carrying stuff, consequences will inevitably kick in.

It was a dumb thing to do and your friend paid the price.
Simple cause and effect.

sounds like it was pure dumb luck you didn't get caught up in all.

You can change your life and the decisions you make.

Wouldn't it be good to not be around those kinds of situations ever again?
