Visiting boyfriend in rehab

My boyfriends first visit is Sunday I was just wondering if you need an ID to visit someone in rehab.

One of the inpatient programs my ex was in, required a picture ID, plus anyone who visited him had to be on his approved "list". His list was real short, just me.
