This wonderful website

I tend to get addicted to things (even healthy things). I have spent a lot of time on this site; ya know because it's way encouraging and helpful, and I can stay home in my warm, cozy bed.

My question is how much harm is there in replacing my meetings from the real aa to using this site several hours a day?

I agree with Dee but have to add that real people and real contact are probably better although personally I used just this site and feel really good about it.

Looking for an excuse to stay home and warm tonight. I know it is not good to isolate.

I've only been using this site as well. I'm so glad to have found it. So much support at our fingertips 24/7. I love it!

SR is always here, 'round the clock. Meetings aren't. Hit a meeting, get out of your comfort zone. You can always post here later. In my opinion, there is no substitute for a real life meeting.

For me, I have to remember that meetings and reading posts here aren't exactly action. I can do both all day very passively and get nothing out of them. Doing the things I learn about in meetings and on here are what is important (to me). I intend to limit my time here to no more than an hour per day.

Isolation can kill. I've never witnessed it personally, but I've heard (from neighbors) of the rotting bodies, and it's a terrible way to go.
