Valentines was rough. The idea of forced love forced itself on me. By me. Recent events in my life compounded.... Smothered me a bit.

So something that I have not said in a while. A new day today. Only I can move forward. And I will with great certainty. But I am human and yesterday .... Well.... It was yesterday.

I will join the awesome weekend thread started by nonsensical. A guy with a new lease on life.

I will stay sober today.

Days like yesterday make for the usual suspects of emotions. A line up of evil.

While I still feel quite uncomfortable about my situation I will recoup and take charge again. AV has no abilities that I don't give him. And I will not feed that mindset.

I will not let this go again any time soon. Sobriety that is. Drinking is just not something I can go back to. It solved nothing.

I cannot be more grateful for this day. The one I am allowed to share with you.

Great attitude; none of us can change what happened yesterday. But we can make sure we are sober today.

Good to hear from you Ken, I was thinking of you yesterday. Nothing like a Hallmark holiday to bring up all the emotions and relationship angst. Glad you were able to get through it, it's just a day that is over with. Onward!
