Hi, I just joined today so I thought I'd post to make it abit more official. I can't carry on drinking anymore, its just brought me pain and misery, its been so self destructive. I've hurt so many people and let so many people down, I'm pushing away people that care about me when really now is when I need them the most. I can't keep doing this, I'm losing everything, and I don't want to feel this way anymore. I can be so much more then this, I need to start living my life instead of messing everything up, I want to be happy and earn peoples trust and respect.

So this is day 1, and I can't mess this up this time. I'm going to get sober and stay sober, I have everything to gain by doing this.

I am on Day 7, made it through my first weekend and I didn't die! That's what I kept saying, I'm not going to die if I don't drink (in fact it's probably the opposite). I'm feeling such gratitude and peace today. I haven't felt this way in a long time. Good luck to you. Sounds like we have made a lot of the same mistakes. It's time to move forward. Welcome.

I am on day 1 again and really have to do it this time. I don't like who I have become because of drink. We can do this! It is so worth it😊
