Day 19....holding up well :)

Hey all....I haven't been on in a few days....I'm happy to say I still haven't had a drink. With the hammering of snow we just got, the first thing I WOULD have done a few weeks ago was stock up on booze....but the strongest thing I've had is a little extra sugar in my chamomile tea, lol.

I'll be shoveling for days...must have 4 ft on my deck!

View from my deck...and it's still coming down!

Wow - that's quite a picture!

It's crazy what we've used as an excuse to get wasted, isn't it?! I'm glad you won't be shoveling snow with a hangover - ugh! Way to go on your 19 days, MM!

Your picture is as close as I want to get . I know being snowed in always meant getting plowed. I am not referring to streets if you know what I mean. You are doing very well. Congratulations

Wow, M & M

Thank you for the picture!

I am a former weather forum addict, and during this storm have been feeling cravings...

Thank you for helping me stay on line here at SR!

Awesome job! I'm the same, in the past totally would have holed up with some beers and watched the snow come down. Not anymore!! Great job!!

Thanks you guys....we shoveled the van out today (was way too cold yesterday) and my 13 yr old son....is actually shoveling off the deck....without me even asking him too...that makes me really happy.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me...woohoo!! Thanks for all of the kind words and support

Well done, 3 weeks is amazing.. it was the first time I actually thought of myself as a non drinker...it felt good to say it we can be really proud.
Take care in this weather, here in the UK we can only watch in awe at how you cope with it
