looking for sober friends
Hi I have been sober for almost six months.Had to loset my family to get here though and not sure I will ever be able to get them back ever...Which always gets me so discouraged and frustrated..Just such a lonely feeling after having a family for 15 years..And then nothing but lonliness and boredom..Worse part is I am sober now and have such a clear mind and good intentions of what I could be to my family being sober...I pray to God my family will take me back...

I'm sorry for your pain.
I think one of the hardest things I had to realise is I can't set the timetable for others to forgive me.
It's really hard when we know we've changed but others remain dubious or still hurting.
The best thing we can do is just continue with our recovery - let our actions speak volumes.
