I know my problems and issues can seem incredibly large at time. So here is a picture to help put things like this in perspective.

This is a picture from the Hubble Space Telescope. They pointed it at what appeared to be an empty spot of space and did some time lapse photography.

There are no individual stars in this picture. Each point of light is a galaxy. And this is from just a tiny piece of the night sky.

wow- you know there are other life forms out there.....

i hear that they are so far away that we could not get a message to them for light years, and anyone who has sent a message that we receive, it was sent light years ago.

someone has to invent a better system of sending messages.

These pictures are from the Hubble deep field scan so the distance from these galaxies is something in the area of 10 billion light years away.
