riding the recovery high

I am believing more and more today that when you work fo positive change then positive change you will get.
I have been miserable at my job for months now. Without much detail it has not been a very good situation and has been the source of a lot of unwanted stress and anxiety. This all resulting in some added stress at home. One can imagine a person entering and focusing on recovery is hard enough to be around, add toit.an unpleasant work environment .... you catch my drift.
well, I asked fo a solution and believe I've got it! I start my new job feb 14th. I thinknits fitting that its on Valentine's day. Still working out some details butvery happy to have accepted the job!
I am so appreciative to all of you here at SR. reading your stories and having your support has been an invaluable gift. Today is day 30 without a drink. I couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate!

It's amazing when we start focusing on our recovery and living in a different way, the opportunities (small and large) that come our way. We are more open to things and things seem to line up in a way that they wouldn't have before. Congrats on the new job!
