I am not sure what this means...

So I had chinese food last night, complete with a fortune cookie. The fortune said:

"She is not coming back. She is sleeping with another guy."

Just kidding - I just figured I would take a moment out of my dark depression to make a joke.

It actually said "Seize the present day."

Either one is probably good advice.

Glad you are finding some humor in all of this. That's a positive step

You're getting your sense of humor back a little - that's good!!
And, that sounds like a pretty smart cookie to me...

Dear Crazed, I think most of us can relate to how much you have been hurting--I know that I can! The ability to find some humor is a good sign.

Your smart little cookie has it right. Face forward toward the future which has all the possibilities that you can imagine! This miserable time will pass.

Sincerely, dandylion

laughing:

Mine should have said: You were duped Girl - Keep on movin' on.

But it did say: To think is easy; to act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult of all.

Thank you for the smile!

It helps to look on the brighter side of life, good for you.
It could also be interpreted for "one day at a time".

The perfect ones for me would be

"Things are not as they seem. Your gut is right."

"Run like the wind."

"No contact means...no contact."

"Nothing changes if nothing changes."

"More will be revealed."

"Don't go to the hardware store looking for cookie."

OhBoy - good to hear! I should probably get chinese food more often to share the wisdom.

For a nice immature laugh, add "In Bed" to the end of every fortune. They sometimes end up being pretty funny!
