Hi everyone

Nice to meet you all! I'm an alcoholic almost 9 years in recovery, as well as an addiction counselor here in my neck of the woods here in french Canada.

I'm a revocering alcoholic first, and a counselor second, something I always need to remember.

I stumbled upon this place doing some research and thought that you could all help me along my journey, and maybe, I could reach out and help you as well through my own personal journey, and what I see in my practice.

I will be very honest and tell you your experiences are vital to me when it comes to helping me help others. I hope that's ok with everyone here.

Hey johnadmans, are you kidding??? I think we'd love someone like you here.

I am currently in school for my BA in Psychology, hope to then get my masters and then LMHC here in the states. I also work in a treatment center for addiction and mental health as well as have been though treatment and done 12 step meetings. Sometimes that is not enough to keep us on the right path, as you know.
