Excited
In 20 days it will be 1 whole year since I have had a drink.
I think after the birth of my daughter, this is one of my greatest achievements.
I am so excited and proud of myself, I actually feel quite tearful.
Its all the thanks to my family here.
Your all so important to me, I don't know where I would be without your wisdom, kindness, support and strength.
You are all truly special xxxx

Wow Sasha that is great! A whole year is fantastic. I'm proud of you too!
I remember how you helped me when I was new and in 10 days I'll have 100 days.
It's a wonderful family here and thanks to people like you, even more people will be inspired to quit

A year is amazing! I remember feeling so relieved after that first year passed. I'd made it over all the hurdles (holidays, birthday, vacations, etc.). Knowing I couldn't be triggered into picking up again made me feel much stronger. We are proud of you Sasha!

After a bad drinking episode, just coming here and reading made me feel better.
If someone told me in those lurking days that one of those days I too would be posting about how proud I was coming up to a year without a drink, I would have fallen of my chair laughing in disbelief!
Please post and become a member of our family too.
You don't have to be perfect right from the start, you just need a desire with wanting to stop whatever it is making you unhappy. Progress is much more important.
And thank you that your first post was to congratulate me.
That means a lot
XXxx
Thankyou so much for that, I need to know it is still important to celebrate every sober day.
It is such a momentus achievement a year, so looking forward to the day I make that announcement.
What a day to be proud of, well done

fantastic!
That's a great accomplishment Sasha. I am so very envious (and inspired). I don't think I've gone a year since I was sixteen. Anyway, I'm working Day14 here and hoping I can stick with SR for awhile and find some peace. Best of luck to you in the future.
Big congrats on your year!! I invite you to visit the thread below to celebrate your year!
