One Hundred and One day
Hi, my SR friends!
When I decided to quit 101 days ago, I was scared to look that far.
I asked myself a lot of questions like "How I'm going to deal with stress without wine", "Is it possible to make it through NY without Champaigne", "Is it possible to have fun without wine?", and many many more.
One day at a time. And my questions got answers. It is possible)
It is great to be sober. Sobriety is worth to fight for.
In one of my posts I compared drinking to malicious software that is implanted in your life operating system and slows down and ruins every process running. Eventually it can kill the system.
When drinking is taken out, the system doesn't become perfect, but surely it is working much better. Sometimes it requires quite a time to clean the entire system.
For those of you who are just starting your sobriety journey: hold on to your decision and take one day at a time. Life is getting better when you are sober!
My big thanks to all SR members for the great support!

Congrats on your 101 days....awesome.
Sobriety is certainly a wonderful thing....one of the great things about recovery is that we get to have two lives in one lifetime.
Cheers
