Familyman out on GPS

I want to thank you all for your prayers. After being transferred to another county closer to home they sent me home in one day on the GPS bracelet. It was sooooo nice to take a nice hot shower at home and see my kids off the bus. Everything else I will keep PG rated!! I honestly believed the prayers from the people here helped. In 3 weeks I get this bracelet off and go back to my old routine. I can comment about my jail time in the future. Thanks again.

Success snapped from the jaws of defeat !!

Embrace the success and build on it.

All the best.

Awesome news, congrats! Build on your success. For me it's also always important to remember that when things are all going your way, it's for a reason. You are making all the right choices and things are looking up because of them - but it only takes one slip up to undo everything. Not trying to be a downer, just that it's always important to be thankful for the good things and remember why we have them. The longer I am sober the more I realize how many poor decisions I made while drinking.

There's no place like home, very happy for you!

Good for you. Stay diligent with your sobriety. Your kids absorb everything. Unfortunately the negatives as well. Be calm be good and be free.

Scott, I do always remember to check myself when things are going well for me. I know that I am just one step away from that first drink. I am thankful for the things I have gotten but never forget where I have been.
