In this life of sobriety I have received so many coupons , I would of never imagined I could have it this good. Thank you AA and SR for saving this alcoholic from himself.

One gaint coupon is true friends today. What does it mean to like other people ? It means by me giving respect and attention to their opinions and perspectives on life. It means respecting their feelings, attitudes, and values without passing judgement or trying to conrtol them. Clearly and simply , liking others means letting them be who they are and celebrating their individuality.

Openly expressing fondness for a friend is affirming for both of us. Our esxpressions are gifts that will multiply for us when weve been honest and unselfish, free from ulterior motives.

We all want to be liked. And I have heard many times that to have a friend, I must be a friend. Its a simple decision each and every time I share with another..

Enjoy another 24 hrs of sobriety , and try to help someone today without telling anyone..

When I was drinking I thought people should be my friend and like me because I was this special person.

In sobriety I have learned that in order have friends you have to be a friend first. To do things for people expecting nothing in return. When I started doing this I found more friends than I have ever had

As my sponsor promised.. He said I would have more friends than I could imagine..

And its so true, and it will continue to keep growing as long as I keep doing what I learned to do, and keep growing..

With that I am off for a long walk, then to make coffee at my home group..
