8.5 months since my last usage of any sort, little over 2 months since the toxic rehab relationship exploded in the worst possible way... and It just sort of clicked today as I was talking to someone.... A real conversation, not just someone telling me about their life as I couldn't respond because I had none,(Id just sit on the couch get wasted, resent everyone and everything, waiting for life to come to me.) , A conversation which I was able to have because I now actually have a life. Lol
Anyone just starting out ( I still see myself as a newcomer) , I'm not going to lie and say it's easy, putting down the substance or letting go of a person is one thing, making the changes is anther, when I look back at how it was, and how it is, it's amazing, yes life has its ups and downs but that's life. Cant control that
It's soooo worth it.
