Just sitting in my lounge, playing with the kids, having a bit of a chill out day when I felt the need to share.....

No brain chatter! No getting angry! No shouting at the kids! No going over what happened at work this week! No planning what I am going to do to my boss if he annoys me again! No making my family live to my timetable to fit around my drinking.

I'm a little over 6 months sober and I haven't had this much inner peace for a long, long time. For me, one of the most important things in the world....... inner peace. You have that, you have everything!

It's getting better all the time.

Just reading that sent me running to the fire to warm up before I could post! This is the coldest morning so far this winter, but I'm sure glad to be sober and warm on the inside.
