Last night was my first Friday in a while...
That I did not drink, and I know I'm also going to make it the rest of the weekend. Coming back to SR has been so helpful and yesterday after getting home from work, I kind of just hung out here and posted like a mad woman.
Anyway, after a long week at work it was also nice to not wake up to the alarm clock and lounge in bed a bit, but I am now ready to get up and start moving.
My sweetie and I might play some tennis later, but I think I'm going to go for a long walk to Starbucks and get myself a Tazo Passion Iced Tea.

happy first saturday!! im a day 6 and last night was not as bad i thought it would be. i got to spend some quality time with myself and get to know me a bit.. and we have a great time lol

Anyway, I'm so glad you made it to day six, just think, tomorrow will be one whole week, that's awesome!! Happy for you.

Thing is, I also know I'm going to make it through the rest of the weekend, and then making it through the week would be FANTASTIC!!!! This site has always helped me, and I'm grateful to be back. Thanks.

Mental Illness usually doesn't work very well either. I'm so glad we're sober!

sobor saturday is awsome, I had little thoughts last night that a bottle of wine would be nice, but I knew i wouldnt have one, thats just somewhere i dont want to go. I woke up the morning and the first thought was I'm glad I didnt drink last night, way better then the why did I drink again. congrats to everyone for sobor weekend.

grandma12, glad you didn't pick up either, I'm going to make it through this weekend. I am planning on making it through all of next week as well. One day at a time. I have an appt. with my primary Dr. on Thursday and on the following Monday my first therapy session. Looking forward to getting back on board and staying there.

You too Caledonia, I have read many of your posts as I've been keeping myself pretty much glued here for now, it's helping my sobriety. I think we're gonna get along just fine!!
