Prayers
My XABF and his AGF were involved in a car accident this morning. She is in critical condition. He, luckily, walked away with minor injuries. I went to see him, only to be reminded of why we were apart. I am asking anyone who reads this to pray for her safe recovery, and him in general.
I know I have no control over the situation, and all I can do is give it to god. I appreciate anyone who includes them in their prayers.
GOD BLESS!

WOW, that could have been you! Thank goodness you had the strength and courage to walk away when you did.
Of course my prayers are going up for your ex, his friend, and for all who suffer from the effects of alcohol and drug addiction.

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and support. I believe my XABF's AGF is out of the woods. As of last night, she was off of life support and sedated. I am so grateful that tragedy was avoided in this situation. I would definitely appreciate continued prayers for her and my recovery.
My recovery process has been a true test of my character. I live my life promoting certain values, but you never know how strong your convictions are until they are tested. I think the most valuable step in my recovery was forgiveness. Forgiving him allowed me to let go of all the resentment, hostility and anger I felt towards him. Forgiving myself was equally as important. I had so much shame and pain, but by forgiving myself and accepting that mistakes were made by all, I was finally able to move past the negative and really begin healing.
I am a firm believer in the power of prayer, and again, I want to thank everyone who offered prayers. God bless!
