Mtg protocol question

Okay, I am only two months sober. So don't fully know the mtg protocols.
I love, love, to bake. Being diabetic, I have to bake and give it away. Is it permissible to bake and take stuff to the mtgs? Yes, I would make enough to cover a sudden doubling of numbers.
I would tell the mtg secretary, but ask to remain anonymous to the others.
Opinions?

Hi Lady,

Just to be sure, I would check with the secretary first. We have a specific person who volunteers to do cookies. Another person bringing cookies would be a surprise and perhaps result in too many cookies (heaven forbid).

Hey Lady.

It's a nice idea. I'm not quite sure how meetings work where you are but in my area we have a lot of people addicted to food/over eating so it might be something you wanted to check.

I pulled a pack of mince pies out at a meeting once and there was a sugar addict accross the table looking at me like I had just shot someone.

Natom.

You would be more than welcome at any meetings I attend. Goodies are always welcome.

When I attended AA there was always food and sweets on the tables. Everyone joked it was AA not OA (overeaters anonymous).

Oh my natom lol I love when people bring treats to the meetings. By me, there are the usual oreos and chips ahoy and then sometimes people bring home baked goods. Yum!

We have a woman at my home group that is an incredible baker... she actually brought a trifle at our last celebration meeting.

I think it's great!! You will want to remain anonymous because everyone will want to know when you're bringing more baked goods.. LOL... There's always food and tons of coffee and drinks at my meetings.. I think it's very kind of you.. We had a big pot luck for Christmas and it was wonderful..
