My friend wants to leave Rehab early (heroin)... :(
Hi inuyashasgirl20 - welcome
The bottom line is if your friend decides to leave, I'm afraid there's not a lot you can do.
Tell him that you think rehab is the best place for him, remind him of the reasons he went to rehab in the first place, and tell him you're worried about him if he leaves.
I hope he listens

I left my first rehab early. I even left the second early because I did not like that one and went to a different one.
Seems I was not well adjusted to the ideas rehab was telling me. I needed to learn on my own.
The fact is Dee is correct. You cannot "convince" anyone to stay. Speak your mind so it's said and then let him make his choices.
If you choose to stand by him then that's your choice. But don't try to take on someone's recovery for them.
