Leg sweats?

Does anyone suffer from leg sweats in bed when you have stopped drinking? I'm on day 2 lying in bed as I type, the backs of my legs are nearly drenching the bed so I got up to look and there's perfect leg marks where I've been lying! I'm not hot or sweating anywhere else just my legs. Coincidence? Paranoia? Or can this happen

Yes it happens one of the horrible side effects of drink. I wake up contless times in the night drenched in sweat and even break out during the day if the binge has been especially bad. Im on day two sober now and its one of the things I am so looking forward to leaving behind. Drinking a lot of water can help speed the cleaning out a bit.

Yeah - although the sweats were pretty much all over. I have also had really bad leg/foot cramps. :-(

You sure your not a bit under the weather?

I have a flu bug and have felt bad for a few days.
I was in bed and I could feel sweat running dripping off the back of my knees!
Yack!

Don't be paranoid or scared or worried - if it is booze related, its normal.
I think it might even be quite good as it means all that booze is being released out of your skin.

Keep going mate
xx

Not a very comfortable night really but I did sleep well on and off, the sweats went after a couple of hours, then woke at 2 this morning drenched again, this is day three now and last night was the first sweaty night as the first night was all sickness! I'm just glad the sicky feeling has gone. Gonna keep fighting this until the end!

I still get leg sweats and I've been sober for over 5 years.

It can be a side effect of some anti-depression medication as well, if you happen to be on any of that stuff as I am.
