Changed my life 90 days ago today :)
Well it's been 90 days since I decided to stop being a drunk and start living again! With the exception of a few ounces of wine on christmas eve, after which I broke out in hives, I have remained true to the fact that I do not wanna go back to drinking my life away. I honestly didn't think alcohol had that big of an effect on my life until I stepped away from it. I feel much healthier now and am looking forward to the future again!!! I am still struggling with the death of loved ones and all the other things I covered up with drinking, BUT I am now facing it all sober!
Thanks so much for everyone's support....especially Delilah, you ROCK girl!!! Pondlady, thanks so much for your support as well, I look forward to getting to know you more!!!
Ok, its time to get on with my day and My "new normal" way of living.
For anyone who is struggling with breaking your bond with alcohol, keep hanging in there....you are so worth it!!
Love to all!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo!!

You ROCK too lilgolden!!!! You've come a long way, enduring the death of loved ones and becoming a single parent to your precious young child. You no longer mask your feelings with alcohol. Sobriety doesn't insulate us from problems, but allows us to give our best selves in seeking solutions. Sobriety DOES allow us to enjoy life's joys to the the fullest......which is something we all deserve. Hugs my friend
