You can stop drinking, but not with the caveat that if it is too hard or too boring, that you can always go back and have a drink. Or if you keep convincing yourself that you can drink normally. See I learned the secret. I realized I was cheating myself! I was depriving myself of the life I deserved.

But would I deprive myself of the alcohol I used as an excuse to not actually face my self, and any challenge that was less fun than drinking? Not only no, but hell no!

Ever watch drunks while you were completely sober. Not normal drinkers, but drunks like you and me? Then I keep reading that sobriety is boring and folks don't know what to do with themselves. As if drinking in dark places and being sick all the time is fun.

I can tell you that all of us who made it felt like a switch was thrown when we made the decision to never drink again no matter what happened bad, or good. I know I did. Some say they knew that this time was different.

Don't treat your sobriety like a revolving door. Like Dee said, what are you going to do differently this time? I assure you that if you keep doing things, the way you always did them, that you will surely get the same results.

You ready for the last time?
