Day 6 Saturday
6 days converts to 7 in the morning.
I dont even know how many days I am at anymore... my job for today is to live a good life TODAY and focus on making good decisions TODAY and steering my thoughts away from quick-fixes... until I go to bed TONIGHT.
Thats it. Getting into a program and assimilation what old timers have to say builds your resolve up from quick fixes AKA bad decision making that can mess up TODAY
Good luck!

It gets easier. I had a rough 4 weeks when I quit. I noticed that I was getting stronger around day 10. I slept a lot. Sometimes i would get lost in TV. I remember becoming absorbed in a movie that featured dogs with human voices. I thought "My God all my drinking has left me brain damaged." I got through it. I know it's hard but try to find a distraction.
One day at a time has always worked for me. When I sobered up, I kept thinking, how will I get through next week, next month, next year...my life? I was told over and over, just get through today, it is all you have to worry about. I am proud of you all!
