happy movies
once in a while i think we all need a little laughter to cheer us up. whether it is a joke.. or just a happy thought. like a good movie.
i would like to know what others watch to cheer themselves up?
for me... i get into my favorite movies.. singing along with Moulin Rouge... or cheering Seabiscuit on.. or laughing at monte python movies... lol
or if i am really feeling like a good laugh.. i rent bill cosby himself.. its old..its classic and its funny... hmmmm maybe thats too much like me eh?

Fun topic! My feel good faves are "Lilo and Stitch" and "An Everlasting Piece"
And I love stuff that is mysterious and spooky ... like the 6th Sense and The Others.

I love watching the Sound of Music. I can sit there and just sing away. Of course I can't do that when the AH is around, but when I know he's out in a bar somewhere and wondering if he's coming home, I'll distract myself with the movie. Popcorn always helps, too!

Quiet sins,
"Bill Cosby: Himself" is probably one of the funniest stand-up comedy routines I have ever seen.
"The Princess Bride" usually lifts my spirits, even though it's not technically a comedy.
I'm also a closet Jay and Silent Bob fan, so "Dogma" or "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" are good for a few yucks.
"The Blues Brothers" is a classic and never fails to make me laugh, even though I've seen it a gabillion times. Ditto for "Animal House".
Peace,
Gabe
