It's not worth it

I was 155 days sober, not one drink. I drank on Christmas and everyday since until new years. I picked up my old habit fast. Now I feel devastated from the damage my drinking caused and the chemicals in my body are all out of sink. . If you are even thinking about drinking don't do it I regret it so much. On day 2...

Start all over and do it again. Forgive yourself and learn from it, don't beat yourself up.:ghug3

Been there, don't that. You're not alone. Try and remember how you feel at this point and hopefully you won't be back

I'm sorry to hear what happened.

I think it's important to understand why you decided to take the first drink at Christmas. Learn from that experience and know that it doesn't have to happen again.

I agree with Least, 155 days is a good amount of sober time, and you didn't lose that. Glad you came back!

Hi Positive. I did that so many times over the years. I finally learned there was no such thing as a few drinks for me. Every time I picked up I was off & running once again.

You've caught yourself, you are back on track. Continue on your journey with the valuable lesson you've learned. You're going to do great in 2013.
