Tick Tock Tick Toc

I just posted in my blog but thought I should visit here again today. I'm 2 hours short of my first 24. Then I will start day 2. The next 24.
I've been eating all day but managed to control the calories. My neck and back hurt. Bad headache too.
I'm drinking plenty of water, coffee and tea. A hot bath is next on my list.
Does anyone have any other suggestions to make this more comfortable? I have safely detoxed at home before, but that was a year ago.
Thanks
Diana

Nice to see you Diana

I would think it'd be a good idea to talk to your doctor if you are detoxing. I hope you feel better soon x

There is a thread here may help with some suggestions:
http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...at-we-did.html

if you find yourself getting concerned at all, please seek medical help Perea.
I always recommend it.

Detox is nothing to fool with - even if you've done it a hundred times before.

Hey Diana. Welcome back! Time is the only thing that will generally cure the physical parts, but this, too, shall pass.

How are you now Diana? I'm on Day Two of many attempts as well. We should chat about it.

I'm glad to hear you made that decision Diana. I know you we're struggling there for awhile. We are here. What an awesome site this is!

I am glad you are back Diana!! Sounds like you did some good things to help get through day one, I agree with Dee about talking to the doctor if you are having a hard time.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Sending hugs and hope that 2013 brings you sobriety and happiness.

Congrats! I found AA meetings to be extremely helpful in reducing the urge as well as AVRT. Will power while important is seldom enough.
