New Girl Looking For Advice

I am wanting to talk to everyday people about recovery. I am a recovering alcoholic and a suboxone patient. I am currently coming off of suboxone and would like some helpful advice.

Hi Michigal

I know you'll find a lot of support and experience here - I have no experience with suboxone but I'm an alcoholic..I think support is vital...and it really helps

I recommend you check out our Class of January thread for support from others quitting drink or drugs this month.

Hi michigal. Welcome to SR! This is a terrific place for info, support, wisdom.

I'm on suboxone, too, coming off a huge oxy/dilaudid habit. Do join us in the Class of January 2013 and the Substance Abuse section too.

Take care.

Hi Michigal! Fellow Michigander here. I have found a lot of support here in the early days of recovery. I hope you find the support you are looking for as well. Happy New Year - always a good time to start afresh.

Welcome to SR Michigal! AA has helped me stay happily sober, and there are some other great programs to check out as well. Peruse the site and see what hits home to you. Glad you're here!

Sup Michigal,

Welcome to the forums. I float around a lot of the time but I am normally somewhere on the forums or in the chatroom. There's always enough members online to help people no matter what time of day it is too.

Natom.
