Hello all,
Just checking in. December 28 marked 8 months since my last drink. It really has been amazing. Today I get to be me all of the time. The good and the bad. No more panick attacks, no more lost days either drinking or recovering from drnking, no more dumb phone calls, no more wondering how I got home, no more finding ATM receipts and not remembering taking out money, no more bloated face, and I could go on and on and on.
The obsession to drink has been removed provided I do a few simple things.
1. Pray
2. Go to meetings
3. Call my sponsor
4. Focus on others
That's the plan. That's what I do. When I do that I have nothing to "fix" with drinking.
