Newcomer for 2013
Hi
I'm new to this so ease me in gently haha
I've decided that drink is taking over abit!!
I couldn't tell you what I spend my money on apart from drink. I'm finding it difficult to picture a life without drink and feel I need to completely knock it on the head, I've tried cutting down but I only cut down my days but on the days I drink I get wrecked!!
I'm just after advise and help on things to replace the hole

I tried the 'cutting it down' thing over and over and over again, and it's always led to spending too much, wearing handcuffs or embarrassing myself in public. So, like you, I've decided it's time to quit for good (as opposed to the other 12 or so times I 'quit' this year alone).
This place is great for me because it reminds me that being sober isn't a 'lack' of anything but a positive action.

Think that's my problem (lack of something)I've drank since I've been 15 and don't know adult life without having a beer on a Saturday (at the very least) I'm finding it hard to imagine life without looking forward to getting drunk
