Well I'm leaving here for awhile!
Many of you don't know who I am. I'm just another face in the crowd. I posted my story and took everyone's advice to heart and it will carry on with me wherever I go and with whatever I do.
I'm leaving for basic training in 2 days! I've had a lot on my plate but luckily I've had enough time to digest everything that has happened to me in the last year. My AH has been in rehab for around 60+ days when I get out of basic training the plan is for her to of already moved to where I am and set up "base". I've been in contact and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders, she hit rock bottom as did I caring for her.
I have my guards up tight, yet caring. My plan of attack is to go with the flow and to not be sucked into anything. I speak my mind and hold nothing back. Just saying thanks! Without your stories I'd feel hopeless and miserable.

Good luck in basic training.
As someone who has been there (Marine Boot Camp, 1971 - Yes I'm that old ) the best advice I can give you is to keep your mouth shut and do what your are told, exactly as it was told to you, as quickly as possible.
It is a great place to practice the first step as you will quickly find out you don't have control over anything.
Your friend,
