Went to 1st AA Meeting Tonight
Hi -All
It went well. It was in my small town that I live in. I felt very, very welcome. Going to my next one tomorrow. They said go to one every day for 90 straight days and I hope I can do, although I do travel alot for work.
I got a copy of the big book. Will start reading tonight.

Congratulations on your first, 4.....I'm so glad it was a good experience for you. I fought AA for a long time (because of my introvertedness), but today I believe it is my lifeline. There is a saying: "Meeting-makers make it", and although, making meetings isn't all there is to sobriety....it's a darn good start.
Take care...and hope to see you here soon.

Good for you 4WWWW. Here is a link to find meetings everywhere in the US and Canada when you travel.

Hey 4
hang in. dont let traveling stop that, like said by someone there are meetings everywhere. for your record, if you stop going you will have a gap in your recovery. Just my experience...keep going if you can.
