I'm here to wish everyone the best Christmas possible.
For me, it seems like the holidays bring out both the best and worst in people.

I know how painful and disappointing things can be.

Something that has helped me over the years is to put positive energy into things and thus the reason I'm letting everyone here know that I'm thinking positive thoughts about all of you.

I never liked this time of the year. It reminds me of my dysfunctional family.

I am visiting my Mom but I also find this a bit stressful. Her apartment is noisy - there is a dog breeding business or something similar / nothing like the sound of 40 dogs barking all day

Then we had another Xmas some years ago where she was very depressed. We did nothing special. It was a sad time.

Anyway, enough with the pity party! I will also try to enjoy what I can and let go of the rest.....
