Hi im hannah and im 22 i used today for a week but was on methadone for over a year before that i was scared of the withdrawals thasts why i used. i know im stupid but i have a 11 month old son and i was scared i couldnt take care of him and now im sorry im not where i should be i just want to talk to get my mind straight at 5pm tomorrow is when my 24 hours sobriety is....

You have an addiction. Now it's time to find your solution. Do you have any sort of plan? I'm sure your little boy will love having his mom back. Best of luck!

You'll find a ton of support here. Whats done is done - try not and beat yourself up.
If you're worried about withdrawal is there someone you can talk to - a clinic or a Dr?

Whatever you are on or have been on, take it one day at a time.
Look hard at the core problem for what it is!
If you lapse, don't get too disappointed. Go back to the core.

thanks so so much guys and yes i ment my offical one day sober is tomorrow at 5pm i know i need to take it one day at a time i think thats why im trying to prepare myself for tomorrow more mentally than anything

Actually I find it easier not to think about it. Watch movies, go for a walk, listen to music...anything to keep you busy. Good luck. I am pulling for you and so is everyone else here.

Honestly I didn't sleep for any of my day 1's. Last time I read a really awesome Dean Koontz book start to finish and I slept most of the next day. I found it very helpful. Hopefully you can do something similar.
