thank God I slept last night and its day 6 of sobriety......I feel like a different human with that sleep............I admit the .05mg of Xanax I took before bed helped but without the clutches of the initial alcohol withdrawls possibly letting up a bit after 6 days it was possible to get a half decent nights sleep...I am so thankful for it you have noo idea.........I just wanted to shout it to the world...........after the alcohol issue is under control then will the "dumping" of the Xanax

Sleeping is a wonderful thing - something I didn't experience while drinking. My routine was waking up after 3-4 hrs of sleep and heading for a beer. Now, I sleep 7-8 hrs straight through.

Hope you can dump the xanax soon. Sobriety is all about our bodies not dependent on "foreign" substances.
