Good afternoon all.

Any time I am alone with my mind, I am outnumbered. Unsupervised, my mind consists of a talkative, rowday, unorganized group of personalities with no apparent plan or sense of direction. Until recovery , I hadn't realized that , at birth, I was expected to assume the rold of chairman of the group. We, the personalities and I , traveled through life like a crowded tour bus with no driver behind the wheel. (Well, I drunk one constantly). One of the passengers drove for a while in any direction.


After a while, another passenger took over from him and took a left in Albequerque.. LOL.. but did so without even talking to the first driver. Later, a third took over for him, and so on. And later in life , we all wondered why we never got anywhere..


Things I get to learn in sobriety..

Keep living the dream and stay on the beam..

This is a very good description of how I've felt the past three years ago. I'm planning on keeping a sober driver in the drivers seat. And hope we get back on track to a happy sunny destination!

Yes, inda, I get quite uncomfortable in public if people look at me. I think the chattering in my head is so loud that it's bothering the folks nearby ....

Well that ends a unbelievable awesome day and night in sobriety..

I got to go down about a 1/2 hr south of Akron. To a meeting and meet my grandsponsor.. Which was nice, we met at his house went to dinner then the his home group. And I didnt know but his sponsor was coming so I met my great grandsponsor..And thats not it yet.. Holy Moly , I got to talk to him and he is giving a lead on thursday that I will make.

But he shared with me , that his first sponsor was Norman Young ( 1 of the first 100 ).. He came in and was given to him and he gave him his BB, in 1947..

What a humbling night..
