Holiday Party Tonight

And I am super excited. It's an AA event and I am going to someone's house before hand for a potluck dinner. I haven't been this pumped to go out in a looooong time, even when I was drinking. I expect to have a lot of good laughs with my peeps and best part is, I'll have great memories because I won't be in a black out. Feeling really really blessed today

I love that I get excited about going places and not drinking. It is such a change in my mind. Surrounding yourself with supporters is the way to go! I am going to an alcothon on Christmas day. We have a 3 day (open 24 hours!) event here from the 24th-26th of fellowship, meetings, dinners, etc...and I can't wait to pop in and spend a little time with the people I see almost every day that keep me sober. Have fun tonight!

Drinking AA coffee instead of booze makes for a better time. Enjoy !

All the best.

I thought you were writing about being nervous because there'd be drinking. I'm so glad that's not the case. Remember when we thought a sober party looked dull and pointless? Being foggy and out of it is boring.

Hope you have a great time - proud of you.
