Exclamation Support requested

Glad I found this site. I can now try to get help. Trying to find sobriety is tough for me. I travel a lot for my job, so the ability for me attend any meeting or join rehab is nearly impossible. hopefully I can find support here

Welcome to SR myeco!

This is the best place to be during recovery (especially suffering through Day 1 as I am).

The Chat Room is awesome with a great show of support.

Good luck to your sobriety!

Welcome! You've found a great place to get support and information. As one of our members, Sentso, always says "Sober is the new cool"

I recommend this book to everyone who is new in recovery.

'Sober for Good' is a book that touches on multiple ways that people have successfully used to get and stay sober.

Welcome and consider the book!

Welcome Myeco,

I have found this site invaluable in maintaining my sobriety as well as AA. I get it that you travel but are there meetings in the cities that you travel to? Early in sobriety use all of the support to get you through.

Hi Myeco,
Personally, I have found this site to be more helpful than AA so far in my brand new soberness.

I am spending a lot of time on this forum. For me the key to getting sober has been putting a lot of time and effort into it.

But I think different things work for different people. There is a Big Book Online that you can read if you don't want to buy the book. I have found that helpful, too.

Glad you are here!

Welcome aboard good to have you..

I have been able to travel extensivly and yet unable to find a AA meeting where ever I go.. And that has become half the fun of travel. I used to look forward to all the bars I would vist. Now its people in the meetings.
