I have finally got to 90 days sober. It feels good but during my meditation I realized that I have so many people to thank and I will go about that today. Life is not about me. So with that in mind I want to thank all of you. I remember first signing on this website as Duke2153. I was still a drunk and struggling with myself. Fighting with my addiction in my own head. I have now given up that fight and it feels so good. Thanks to all your kind words, tough words and helpful advice. One of the great things about this website is you get a ton of different opinions and it helps look at situations from a lot of perspectives. Have a happy day knowing you helped one grateful alcoholic

Yeah OneLessLonely, Duke was still a drunk so I thought I would change my name. A fresh start to a fresh life. I still remember those dark days. Helps keep me sober!

Congratulations on 90 days Familyman, that is something to be very proud of!!! I just remembered my old log in, I was Mubu, silly nickname from the past, however, she suffered the same fate as Duke.

I have 50 days tomorrow, I think our new selves have done quite well.

I am proud of you, and look forward to getting to that milestone.

What an inspiring post! I am so glad you made it dude this gives me so much hope! All of us have a chance to get this thing and you worked hard and were willing to open up to others and ask for help so you're a great example!

Totally made my day. Happy 90!!!! Keep going!!!! When I got six months (before relapse, sad to admit but I digress) I actually felt so freaking happy and healthy. I made a mistake but I'll get back there and I believe you'll hit 6 months soon as well.
