If a drunk falls in the woods?

Does he make a noise?

Such deep things to ponder today. Hmmmmm.

When she fell out of a hot tub she sounded like a watermelon hitting the pavement. Does that help?

Lol. Yes.

In one of those moods today. Middle of the road. Kinda bored. Kinda happy. Kinda sad.

Yes. Ripple effect, like a stone in a pond. Or maybe huge boulder would be more accurate.

I don't say that any more escapist!

Falling down drunk was never fun. Hated waking up with marks and bruises I had no idea how I got.

Yes I know all about that. I have a thin scar above my left eye from falling on my face.

I hate to be a debbie downer, but this topic title made me remember a sad story. A parent of a child in my children's school was found dead, with a bottle, having likely fallen in the woods while intoxicated. Nobody heard him. He was found by skimobilers sometime later.

Falling down drunk is not funny. my husband also lost his father that way. Head injury, brain bleed.

I am not criticizing, just sharing. Here's to no more drunken falls! I have had a couple of my own.

No falling down drunk is not funny. I would agree.

Just my dry sense of humor took over this morning.

I do get it. I hesitated to post, but it resonated today for some reason.

I am new to sobriety and things I used to find funny, like drunks in movies, just don't have the same impact. Maybe someday I will level out and lighten up.

I know I passed out in several different woods .. Only to come to wondering what the hell and where is my drink... Continue on the path of destruction..

Thank you for the reminder today, of what I dont miss.

I sure hope everyone knows that this was lighthearted. I am not making fun of falling down drunk. I have been there. In fact when I posted it this morning I did not even think of that. I was just thinking silly thoughts on the way to work in traffic.

No apology necessary, we all think different at different times... I know you would never go out of your way to be malice..

i found it funny, and it reminded me of my dad's joke: "if i am out in the woods and your mother isn't there with me, and i say something, am i still wrong?
