Fitz, Try a hot shower or even better, a bath. If you have Epsom salts, that helps me. I can tell you, I've done lots of personal research. Alcohol doesn't work on pain. physicals or emotional.

It seems the more we transition, the more we realize that we are all moving towards the future at 60 minutes an hour. That can feel recklessly fast, and agonizingly slow, all in the same day.
Balance makes the speed, pain, and joy tolerable, and our lives slow enough to be managable, just fast enough to be interesting.
