Are you happy now?

Yes, Beast, pain-body, whatever the label is, you won tonight. Are you happy now? You must be, my drinking alcohol is all you care about. That's all you want and I keep giving in to you.

I know. Conversing with it is not the best thing to do. But, dammit , this F@@@@@g conversation just won't stop.....! I'm all over mindfulness, zen, AVRT, Tolle, etc. Not particularly religious. I do believe it's me and all me;

Thank you, Dee, but it's hard to be gentle when I've f@@@@d my self. I'll post more later when I can and when I have a chance to think about my "situation".

I know it's hard - been there done that

Beating yourself up is understandable on one level - but it's also futile.
What's done is done.

Hope you feel a little better tomorrow and will feel ready to 'remount the horse'

Sorry for that major drunk whine, folks.

It's a new day; I'm not giving up. I've just got to find a way to flip that switch, to make and maintain that choice.

I lurk here a lot and SR has provided me with the tools to succeed. I can do it. I know I can.

Today is a new day oakwood. You can make the decision not to drink, and not to change your mind.

I can do it. I know I can.
Yes, you absolutely can.

What are you doing toward that end?

I know how it feels and I know you need some relief from this. Do not give up.
